A Question

Frendz... Dis is again a post from a viewer of our blog... Its basically a question... To you, to me and to everyone who can answer it... Agreed that this is a college blog... But there are things even we can change if we want to... Lets just wait a minute and think about it... And i request you to reply as a comment if u can answer dis question...

Hmmm... During the days of my exams, afternoon, day before Aerodynamics exam, it was so so sunny... I was writing Vortex Panel Method from my Aerodynamics book, ( imp question ani sir cheparu le:) done with that and sitting quietly for a while, taking some rest, in my room... Suddenly, I heard a low pitch, weak, sickly voice from outside... So I opened the door and checked... I saw a very much aged, emaciated woman standing out and begging... Her bones are pretty much obvious outta her skin... I felt very very bad at her position... Anyways, I gave something to her from what God gave to me... Its not the issue... Why so discrepancy between a human and a human? Some are sitting in AC rooms and having luxurious lives... And some are roaming under the scorching sun for survival... Some are having belly full of costly foods and some are starving with hunger... Why so variance? Is taking birth in a poor family a sin? Why should she suffer to that extent? At that age... hmm... What wrong she might have done for what she is suffering to that extent? I don't find answer yet... Answer if u have any idea...

Atlast 4th Year

One of the most sincere viewer of our blog has finally written a post for us... Jus Check it out...

My expectations of "4th Year" were very different.... Thought that I would be able to Harass* and order ( :p ) the juniors from 1st year to 3rd year.. Or hit people whom I hate the most. Thought that I'd get more respect from juniors as well as the lecturers and professors. Thought that I can now get that Manchuria in canteen quicker than others by pushing people around..Thought that I'll be able to bunk college more often..... Thought that I'll be able to look even "more professional".. (Yeah, yeah.. I know that look that "Yeah Right" look you guys are giving me) Thought that I will learn something "Now" at least...
But as usual, fate has something else in its malicious mind..
Harass???? The juniors dont even know I exist... Ordering has now become "Please Can You Do Me A Favor" with lots of Pleases behind it. Forget the respect part. Professors tell us "Dont think you are Great, by entering 4th year". If we do apni manmaani or daadagiri then the wrath of the top guy will be unleashed... When it comes to the Manchuria, Dude, its a sad story..Me being a short person compared to other juniors they might as well stamp me while drooling at the oily delicacy... Bunk? Thats another sad story. If we bunk classes, we are tagged "Good For Nothing" "Still acting like children" and the biggest "I know where you've been" look.
When it comes to professional looks, Lite!!!!
Learn something? I think a lot of lecturers have been begging me for that. Dude, Thats un-achievable...

Seminar On CFD

Date: 15th July 2009.
Time: 14:30 hrs.
Venue: Seminar Hall opposite to Principal's Office.

Today IARE was a host to yet another seminar held in association with a company reinforcing the college-industry association. The representatives from Zues Numerix Company came in with a new software in Computational Fluid Dynamics, a important subject for the people from Mechanical and Aeronautical branches, which basically uses Numerical Methods and Algorithms to solve problems. This company was formed by some of the IIT'ians, using the help of Society for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.This society acts as a platform for any students who got an idea and who would either like to float a company or work in association with any company for this purpose. This society helps with finance to set it up and keep it running for a few time. This society has been working on this particular software for a long time now and has handled assignments from many leading companies including some Japanese organisations and Indian Defence. The product was showcased with its various modules including Structural Analysis, Aerodynamic Analysis and many such things... This product has given has us a insight into the various problems faced by different clients in designing in the present scenario rather than the textbook approach which usually deals with older cases and so relatively simple cases. The Principal welcomed the gathering and the speaker Mr. Abhishek Jain was introduced by the Sales Executive of the organisation. Aero - Mechanical Division Chairman Dr. Subbaraju and Heads of Aeronautical and Mechanical Departments spoke.

The most important part today, after the seminar, was the time when Mechanical Head of Department Mr. V. V. S. Harinath Prasad told the gathering that the Society for Innovation and Entrepreneurship in our IARE was on the cards, as this was discussed by the Principal in the morning with some of the HODs. Hope it forms soon and is functional before the end of this semester.

First Week

So frendz... One week since we got into the new semester... As usual there was not much of classwork done as most of the classes wore an empty look with a happiness worth noting in the students expressions...But it was not the same the whole week... Because the "Good" people had turned to "Fine" by the end of the week... The new faculties and should be dreaded subjects were a constant gossiping that went round the campus...N yea from this semester on, all the 3rd years got a lab named "Advanced Communication Skills Lab" in either of the semester... So it was heard that there would be a lab supporting all the new softwares for the purpose... Whether his lab will be a separate one or merged into any of the existing labs is still something not known. The change in the timings of the college, which was the biggest talk of the college seemed o rest a bit but with new rumours that there will be no such thing taking place... So just wait n see what comes out...

The Poll...

Well friends my first poll on the blog "How about a change to the blog?" is now closed. But i m quite impressed by the response I received...Not only it was more than I expected but also highly encouraging... About 66% of the voters have gone in for an extreme positive side..Literally yelling "Lets go for it" Around 26% of viewers agreed to give it a try... And it was just 6% of the voters that didn't like any change... Good to see that so many are ready to go in for a massive change... Then let me inform you all that we are ready for a change to the blog... The details of the new blog... The new format and a few screenshots will be soon placed on the blog... There will be a lot of added options as well... So keep your fingers crossed... The biggest change ever is about to come to the blog... Just wait and watch... Till then frendz... This blog will continue to function as usual and may be with many more posts... May be with some new authors as well... So that u just don't get old school journalism type stuff from me but even something different... Well dis is just on cards yet but lets hope for the best...

Back to IARE

Huh!!Came today and everything seemed bright(Winks)... Back to college... After 2 long months... Finally... And just today we witnessed a lot of things... Apart from lecturers, subjects, and a book(Most of them with aim to make a all - in - one) what IARE saw was a rumour doing rounds that the timings are gona change within a few days (they might be true but lets consider them that until proven otherwise). As far as the things go, it is heard that 16 colleges under JNTU have been given the polytechnic thing with our college one among them... The new timings, as per rumours, will be from 7:30 to 13:30 or 14:00... Well friends, theres nothing much to tell as of today... As all the new things were reported to you well in advance... Will get back with much more masala and interactive things soon...
