We got the best bus around!!!

4086, rest in peace!!!

4086 is out of our college fleet of extra- "ordinary" buses. And we have worthy substitute "180". Today it just showed us 180 degrees!!!
The engine let go in a slope in pragathi nagar and seriously, thanks to the driver, he tried his level best to get it into place.

First impression is last impression!!!

My first impression was " Oh Shit!!! not again" . now i feel 4086 is a wonderful bus when compared to this one.

And now for the icing on the cake... there comes prakash sir asking for names for checking fees !!! Sir half of the boys are standing, and u already out there for fees!!! Along with checking for passes as a in charge give us some decent facilities. "They call it ethics"

YOU NEVER KNOW SOMETHING'S VALUE UNTIL YOU LOOSE IT.

4086 I miss you. PLEASE COME BACK! ;-)

First day in 3-1

Finally today I have entered the college after long time and i was pretty surprised with few changes......

Firstly the way the classrooms were allotted was pretty well thought, as by the time the freshers turn up they wont be directly available to the seniors and will be under the watchful eyes of PC Rao.

Then the small but interesting change which i like the most.......

The college symbol has been changed ,the previous one which was a bit shabby and mixed up and didn't make any sense is gone. Now it is much better looking , though simple, it is much cooler than the one before. looks like a badge with a sun behind IARE and down with 2000 written in it.

Various things are now well organised than the last two years and also well thought of. For example the rooms, fees payment etc. which seem to be more effective.

Along with the pros, we also have some cons...

The Volleyball courts, the cricket cum running track cum annual day cum jukebox arena is far from being recognised...our bus 4086 is missing!!!
(ya even my co-blogger Tulsi must have ended up in that bus!!)

The weird college in front of our college look much more weird.

With all these I have met many friends and had a great time on the first day of my 3-1. Hope this sem leaves me with some good memories to smile away with.

Holidays have been boring

Finally even the First years have completed their exams. It is now their turn to enjoy the few initial days and then die of boredom later!!! That is what I thought initially..but surprisingly they have only a week holidays!!! But for me it has been boring.... trust me holidays can be damn boring .Specially when there are no new movies. I have exploited the few initial days and now I’m sitting at home having nothing much to do. Sleeping all day…….

The news that “Results are gonna come today!” always caused nightmares though…. but luckily we haven’t had to see our nightmares come true, for 2nd years, rest others have passed this phase successfully.
There hasn’t been much happening in the college in the past two months, as far as I have known.

Except for news like, NRI seat now in our college for C.S.E and Aero started at whopping 8 lacs!!! Lately it has been 5 lacs minimum. Also heard that Bashith sir got married sometime in May…. (Hope his temper goes down a bit now at least!!)
Unfortunately there hasn’t been any educational tours for ASI student members this time  . Too bad….

Presently I’m waiting for my results. I wish all the very best to 1st years who have just finished their long battle with their exams.
And waiting to get back to college and find some juniors step into our college….
Hoping a lot from the college!!!

I’ll get back to u guys more frequently as soon as college begins. Till then enjoy and freak out!!!

It’s our IARE!!!

CeLL stories.

You think life is good. You have your cellphone brimming with contacts and messages. You include it in your list of 'five things I can't live without'. You put it under your pillow while you sleep, hold it in your hand, like a limb extension when you are awake. The only time you put it out of sight is when you sit for the exams. After coming out of the exam hall, you head straight to your bag and search for it-and bang! it isn't there!! Pinch me if you aren't tearing up!

Cell phone flicking is nothing new in campuses these days. But today there occured one of sorts.
Imagine, a whole bunch of cells disappeared from students' bags, bags of the first years which were left in the room before going for the exam. Beats me, how that cellphone-freak did that!!
If it was a student, that guy/girl mustav come out of the exam hall early and dunnit. The exam was english and if you ask me, its the perfect exam to carry out the task, cause that is one exam you won't find people 'suppli-fying' and leaving the hall in a half hour. SoMe mastermind he /she is!!!
If this is one end of the stick, the other sharper end is the squad. In another college, the JNTU squad which caught few guys with cellphones(switched-off, even) in their pockets were not allowed to write the exam!!
So, the best option is submitting them on the teacher's table in the exam hall or even better, dumping it at home.
