Dark are the days without you by my side.

I’m now in darkness without you as my light.

My strength lay in you.

My laughter existed because of you.

Whenever I was down,

You returned the smile back to my face.

My friend, you showed me fun.

I miss you, you are with me no more.

I miss you.

As I see your picture, I wish,

I hope, you will come back to me.

I just don’t know how

You left me, left us all, for you

Were my happiness.

I miss you.

I wish I held onto you. I wish.

Now I don’t have anyone to hold on to.

I don’t have a shoulder to cry on.

There’s no hand to wipe my tears.

No one to make me laugh.

No one to trust.

I want you back in my life.

How can I get you back, tell me my friend.

I need you more than you could ever need me.

I hope with all my heart, to get you back.

I miss you.

But all I can do now is,

Hope you are happy.

Hope you rest in peace.

I wrote this poem for a friend I lost. But I think whoever was a friend of Latif can reflect with this poem. Latif, may your soul rest in peace. We miss you.
